As much as I love Jeff and miss him very much. I believe he made a great choice of choosing to go into the Army. They are giving him 40000.00 for going into active duty and there's more on top of that because of the job he chose. He past all of his test and was able to leave for basic training as a E-2. By the time he's done with basic training he should be a E-3.
I know he's dreading all the physical endurance test he'll have to do, but I'm praying he'll be stronger when he's done. Not physically stronger, but mentally stronger. The saying is they tear you down to build you up.
Jeff needs to be torn down and built up. He's a stubborn young man, who thinks he knows it all. I guess we all go through the all knowing smarter than at 40 year old when we are in our early 20's. I did and I sure if your honest with yourself, I'm sure you thought the same.
Charles and I have been packing Jeff's stuff. Something he was supposed to do before he left. As we're packing we are switching bedrooms between the two (again). I hate that they switched rooms a couple of months ago. It's such a chore. Charles has a trundle bed and that's a pain to dismantle and put back together. Everything has to be done before Christmas. Jeff is allowed two weeks vacation at that time and I want him to have a nice room when he comes home.
Well, I have a letter that needs to be done and sent out to Jeff. I've already sent one everyday, but another one won't hurt. They say these soldiers can't wait to get mail, so the more the better.
